View and manage contacts who have accessed your documents.
Contacts
The Contacts section shows all viewers who have accessed your documents through verified gates. Every time a viewer provides their email or WhatsApp number to view a document, they are automatically saved as a contact.
Contact Types
Email Contacts
Viewers who provided their email address (and optionally verified it via OTP) when accessing a share link with Require Email enabled.
WhatsApp Contacts
Viewers who provided their WhatsApp phone number (and optionally verified it via OTP) when accessing a share link with Require WhatsApp enabled.
Contact List
The contacts page displays a table with all your contacts, showing:
- Contact identifier — Email address or WhatsApp number
- Type — Whether the contact is an email or WhatsApp contact
- Last accessed — When the contact last viewed one of your documents
- Access count — Total number of viewing sessions
Filtering Contacts
Use the filter options to narrow down your contact list:
By Contact Type
Filter to show only Email or WhatsApp contacts.
By Share Link
Show only contacts who accessed a specific share link.
By Document
Show only contacts who viewed a specific document.
By Workspace
Show only contacts who accessed documents through a specific workspace.
Search
Search contacts by email address or phone number.
Sorting
Sort contacts by:
- Last accessed date (default, newest first)
- Other available fields
Toggle between ascending and descending order.
How Contacts Are Created
Contacts are created automatically when:
- A share link has Require Email or Require WhatsApp enabled.
- A viewer enters their email or WhatsApp number at the access gate.
- If verification is enabled, the viewer completes the OTP verification.
- The contact is saved and linked to the share link they accessed.
Contacts persist across sessions — if the same viewer accesses multiple documents, their activity is consolidated under a single contact record.
Contact Export
On the Business plan, you can export your contacts for use in external tools, CRM systems, or mailing lists.
