Documents
The Documents section is your file management hub. Upload PDF files, organize them into folders, and manage their settings and share links.
File Explorer
The file explorer has two main areas:
Folder Tree (Sidebar)
A hierarchical tree view on the left side showing all your folders. Click a folder to navigate into it. You can:
- Create folders — Click the folder-plus icon to create a new folder inside the current location.
- Rename folders — Right-click or use the context menu on any folder.
- Delete folders — Remove a folder and all its contents.
- Drag and drop — Move documents and folders by dragging them onto a target folder in the tree.
Document Grid (Main Area)
The main content area displays:
- Subfolders — Shown as clickable cards at the top of the grid.
- Documents — Displayed as cards with thumbnail preview, name, page count, and share link status.
- Breadcrumb navigation — Shows your current location in the folder hierarchy.
Uploading Documents
- Click Upload from the documents page or use the upload button in the toolbar.
- Select a PDF file from your device.
- Optionally enable End-to-End Encryption (E2EE) — available on Pro and Business plans. When enabled, the document is encrypted in your browser before being uploaded.
- If you're inside a folder, the document is automatically placed in that folder.
- Click Upload to save.
Supported format: PDF only.

Storage Usage
The sidebar displays a storage usage indicator showing:
- Used storage vs. Storage limit for your plan
- A progress bar visualizing current usage
Storage limits by plan:
| Plan | Storage |
|---|---|
| Free | 100 MB |
| Pro | 1 GB |
| Business | 3 GB |
Folders
Folders help you organize documents into logical groups. They support unlimited nesting depth.
Creating a Folder
- Click the New Folder button in the toolbar, or
- Click the folder-plus icon in the sidebar tree
Moving Items
Drag a document or folder onto a target folder in the sidebar tree to move it. Items animate smoothly during the move, and the operation can be reverted if it fails.
Deleting a Folder
When you delete a folder, all documents and subfolders inside it are also deleted. If you delete the folder you're currently viewing, you'll be redirected to its parent folder or the root.
